Solar Energy
These solar lamps help our children study at night and support everyday activities when electricity is unavailable. They have become an essential part of our lives.
We are truly grateful to Sunbird Trust and Assam Rifles for providing 400 portable solar lamps to our village. Since electricity is very irregular in our remote area, these lamps have become extremely useful in our daily lives. They help our children study at night and support families in cooking, cleaning, working in the fields, and moving safely around the village after dark.

Infrastructure
These solar street lights have brought safety, visibility, and confidence to villages that still remain unelectrified. It has changed how people move and live after dark.
I sincerely thank Sunbird Trust and HDFC Parivartan for installing solar street lights in some of the remotest villages along the Indo-Myanmar border. Development has been slow in this marginalised region, and many villages remain unelectrified. These lights have arrived at the right time, bringing much-needed safety, security, and hope to the people in their everyday lives.

Emergency Relief
After losing my house during the cyclone, Sunbird Trust supported its rebuilding. Their support brought hope when I needed it most.
On 24th March 2024, a powerful cyclone destroyed my home, leaving me helpless and deeply worried about where I would live. At such a difficult time, Sunbird Trust came forward and supported the rebuilding of my house. Their timely help gave me strength, shelter, and hope. I am deeply grateful and will always remember their kindness in my prayers.
