Refund Policy

 

Sunbird Trust (we/us) institutes a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations. Sunbird Trust requests donors to exercise due care and diligence while making donations.

 

We will examine each refund request and endeavor to make the refund. We may also seek further information or documentation to enable this.

 

For all Indian Donors

  1. We offer a refund policy to the donors only in case of an error/technical reason for the transfer, on account of which donors have mistakenly made payments twice or donated an amount greater than intended.
  2. No refund/cancellation request for the donated amount by any donor will be entertained for donations made via the online payment gateway after the donation has been accepted by our online payment gateway service providers unless there is a notification of fraud from our service providers.
  3. No refund is made for additional bank charges incurred by the donor in case of a cheque or ECS bounce. No refund will be processed once a tax certificate has been issued in the donor’s name.
  4. To cancel/refund your donation, we will need a valid proof of deduction. Please send your refund request to Sunbird Trust at connect@sunbirdtrust.com. Your request must reach us within 15 (fifteen) days from the date on which the donation was made.

 

Receipt

We will send you a receipt for your donation via email within 30 working days of us receiving the donation.
